"Mia" bracelet with natural cacholong and white river pearls.
In India, cacholong is still considered the petrified milk of cows; in ancient times, this stone, identified with sacred animals, was also considered sacred. Buddhists associated cacholong with the lotus, a symbol that plays an important role in Buddhism. Since ancient times, Buddhists have used this stone to create amulets for women in labor and little girls. The Buddhists of Kalmykia and Mongolia, in particular, attached symbolic meaning to kacholong.
